By A Mystery Man Writer
They were established as a response to members of their community who feel yoga is financially out of their reach but who wish to be included in the many and varied healing benefits yoga has to offer. Their purpose is to provide classes, workshops, and training that are accessible to all regardless of economic barriers. Offering over 50 yoga classes per week, with styles ranging from beginner to advanced, they hope to foster a diverse, non-dogmatic, warm, and encouraging environment free of competition and expectations to fit within the commercial mold. They currently have 2 locations: NE Killingsworth and SE Hawthorne. Check out the schedules for each studio to see what all they have to offer to you and their community.
